FRAXA Research Foundation is a parent-run organization with no government funding. Our strength comes from volunteer families and friends worldwide. Our FRAXA Ambassadors play a vital role advancing our mission by raising Fragile X awareness, building our community of families and friends, and helping with our fundraising efforts. Sign up for our Fragile X newsletter of updates about discoveries, clinical trials, events, and general Fragile X news. This will help keep you up to date on what’s happening at FRAXA and you can help spread the word about the impact we’re making. We typically send 1-2 emails per month.
Join Our Ambassadors Online Listing
We have an interactive map listing all of our FRAXA Volunteer Ambassadors. Email your information to us as you would like it to appear. You can expect to receive some calls or emails from newly diagnosed families in your area as time goes on.
Distribute FRAXA Materials
We can send you a supply of information for people who might contact you — brochures, articles, and more. You can download and print our brochure. FRAXA also has wristbands, magnets, information cards, original art holiday cards, and more in the FRAXA Shop.
Raise Fragile X Awareness
FRAXA Ambassadors offer support and information to local families affected by Fragile X and help raise awareness of Fragile X in general. How about a local newspaper article? Or an event? We have ideas to get you started, check out Run Your Own Event, Personal Campaigns and our current Events calendar.
