Gordon Research Seminar 2026 Fragile X and Autism-Related Disorders

Perceptual, Motor and Social Alterations as Biomarkers for Fragile X and ASDs

Gordon-Research-Seminars-presentation-2

The Fragile X and Autism-Related Disorders GRS is a two-day Gordon Research Seminar designed for doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new approaches, and build collaborative networks. The program includes approximately 10 talks and two poster sessions, with active participation encouraged throughout. The format emphasizes discussion, with trainees serving as the core contributors and experienced mentors helping facilitate an engaged, interactive environment.

In 2026, the seminar will focus on “Perceptual, Motor and Social Alterations as Biomarkers for Fragile X and ASDs,” examining how differences across sensory processing, motor coordination, and social behavior span molecular and neural mechanisms through behavioral phenotypes and may serve as biomarkers for early diagnosis and subject stratification. Sessions will connect clinical and preclinical insights, with special emphasis on cross-species markers and their relevance to translational and personalized research in Fragile X syndrome and autism-related disorders.

This GRS is held in conjunction with the associated Fragile X and Autism-Related Disorders Gordon Research Conference (GRC), where FRAXA Research Foundation is listed as a contributor.
