Gordon Research Conference 2026 Fragile X and Autism-Related Disorders
Mechanistic Insights and Therapeutic Development for Fragile X and Neurodevelopmental Disorders
The Fragile X and Autism-Related Disorders GRC is a five-day Gordon Research Conference that brings together scientists and clinicians across career stages to share cutting-edge, unpublished research and build new collaborations. The format prioritizes discussion after talks and creates plenty of time for informal scientific exchange through poster sessions, shared meals, and community-building in a focused setting.
The meeting highlights progress across molecular and cellular mechanisms, model systems, and translational and clinical research aimed at understanding Fragile X syndrome (FXS), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and related neurodevelopmental conditions. Because syndromic and monogenic forms of ASD can reveal convergent biology, FXS remains a powerful framework for uncovering shared pathways and therapeutic opportunities, alongside related disorders studied with similar strategies.
The 2026 program reflects rapid advances in the field, including emerging approaches in human stem-cell derived neurons and organoids, genomics and transcriptomics, gene-targeted therapies, and clinical trial methodology, with poster sessions and discussion woven throughout.
FRAXA Research Foundation is proud to support this meeting as a contributor, and several FRAXA-funded researchers are among the presenters and discussion leaders.
