Official Rules for the FRAXA Photo Contest:
- All entries must be submitted by email by 11:59 pm EST on July 15, 2009
- All entries must be accompanied by the Official Entry Form.
- Submission of any video, pictures, or other media entitles FRAXA to use this material in any way, without license, restriction, or compensation. However, this use is not exclusive, and the media remain the property of the entrant.
- All submissions should consist of media generated by the entrant, in digital format (preferably JPEG) of at least 200 dpi quality; all photo entries must feature at least one person with fragile X (and this should be specified on the entry form)
- One entry per person and/or email address
- All entries will be displayed on FRAXA’s web site from July 15, 2009 to August 15, 2009, with an online poll allowing for continuous voting
- The top 10 photos will be selected for a final run-off August 15 to September 15, 2009 and displayed on FRAXA’s web site; votes will be cast via email, with voting buttons for each photo. One vote per email address per day will be allowed. Winners will be determined by the number of votes received via email.
- The Grand Prize is two tickets to the FRAXA Gala in Boston, MA on October 8, 2009---see web site for details; these tickets are transferable and may be given to anyone of the winner’s choosing; travel and lodging are not included.
- Second and third prizes will be awarded, consisting of an assortment of FRAXA logo merchandise.
- Objectionable, offensive, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate content may be excluded at any time at FRAXA’s sole discretion.
- Employees of FRAXA are not eligible to enter (but there are only 4 of us, so that still leaves more than 6 billion of you who are eligible!)
